This year, we will be meeting together online. Our goal has been to create a virtual experience that draws on elements from a typical in-person conference while also trying to adapt to the virtual setting. The best way we can do this is to ask for your full participation. As always, the AspenCat Conference is FREE! We look forward to seeing you October 27, from 12:00-4:00 PM!
One key takeaway from previous AspenCat conferences is how much attendees want to network and interact with each other. We will facilitate those interactions as much as possible virtually, so we ask that attendees have microphone and camera access, to make those interactions meaningful. Many laptops are camera equipped, and typical smartphone earbuds can be used as a microphone. If that doesn’t work, attendees can always call in with a phone while watching and interacting online.
You will be asked to choose two of the following breakout sessions:
- SWIFT/Resource Sharing – Lori Smith and Lauren Conley
- eResources – Kira Zimmerman
- Reports/Cataloging Tips and Tricks – Bob Bennhoff
- Discovery Layer Updates – Mark Noble
- Grow Your Own (training staff with non-library backgrounds) – Anna Szczepanski
