Every year, we ask AspenCat Member Libraries to pledge money for the upcoming year, so that we ensure your patrons have access to a wide variety of eBooks and eAudiobooks. This year, with many of your patrons continuing to stay home more and explore our Pay Per Use collection, that pledge is even more important. If you do not know much about cloudLibrary or do not see the benefit to your patrons, please see the following fast facts!
Did you know?
- On average, there was a 57% increase in cloudLibrary usage since 2019
- AspenCat currently owns more than 8,600 titles in the cloudLibrary collection, and offers more than 39,000 eAudiobooks and eBooks through Pay Per Use
- If you are an AspenCat library your patrons have access to all these titles, whether you pledge or not. This year, we are asking libraries to at least help fund what their patrons are spending on Pay Per Use titles
- Your patrons also have access to Estes Valley Library and Pueblo City-County Library’s collection of available titles
- AspenCat has a graphic to easily explain how to get cloudLibrary and sign in (bookmark template):
