CLiC's Workshop Application
CLiC is offering ten (10) individuals a chance to earn $100 to help defray expenses by assisting us at the Spring Workshops. Selection will be based on a random drawing about 3-4 weeks before each workshop event. To apply, complete ALL THREE steps:
Step 1: Fill out the form below and submit.
Step 2: Post a comment to the CLiC Blog. There is a recent posting announcing the "Chance to Earn $100 towards CLiC Workshop Costs!" Click below this posting on the word Comments. You can post a comment "anonymously" (but put your name in the text so we know you posted) or "sign in" if you are Blogger user. Please comment on something you are doing that is exciting in your library, OR, something you hope to learn this year possibly at the CLiC Spring Workshops. Contact Beth at 970-560-9503 (cell) or if you have difficulty posting to the Blog.
Step 3: At the workshop location of your choice, you will act as the "liaison" for four (4)workshop sessions, hopefully most of your choosing! Your job is simple. First, check with the presenter before s/he begins to make sure everything is set; introduce the speaker (we'll provide the bio to read); hand out or make sure all attendees receive any handouts, and assist the presenter as necessary. Please stay for the session in case of any problems; any problems find the CLiC staff! After the workshop is over, submit to the CLiC staff, a brief summary and evaluation of all the workshop sessions you liaison. We will use your opinion to evaluate how good the topic and presenter were. Once you are notified of selection, we will allow you to sign up, first come first serve, for the sessions of your choice to attend as liaison while at the CLiC spring workshop.
